JUST IN | Cop shot dead in Eastern Cape court
A police officer was shot dead inside the Motherwell Magistrate's Court in Gqeberha on Wednesday. Police on the scene confirmed that the court has been closed to the public following the shooting incident. A phalanx of police officers including top brass are at the scene. News24 has reliably been informed that the officer was a sergeant who worked as a court orderly.
