Police reported 19 residential break and enters in Toronto City Centre between Aug. 16 and Aug. 22. That’s four fewer than were reported during the previous week . Reports across the city fell by two to 41, bringing Toronto’s preliminary total break and enters for the year to 1,579 — down 11 per cent compared to the same period in 2021.One new residential break and enter was reported in Casa Loma. It took place at an apartment in the Benvenuto Place and Edmund Avenue area on Tuesday, Aug.

It occurred at a house near Euclid Avenue and Ulster Street on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at around 1 p.m. There have been 15 residential break and enters reported in Palmerston-Little Italy this year.
