She wants to lead an independent life
A young girl from Preston who was born with a rare condition is now hoping to achieve her dreams of going to the beach.
"She has endless amounts of medical appointments and we're probably at the hospital every other week. We were originally told Annie wouldn't walk or talk and we had a very grim outlook on life and how it would turn out." "We've got two dogs and our nine-year-old daughter so all of our outings have only ever been led by what Annie can do, which basically means shopping, going to restaurants or anywhere where they have pavement, and that's as far as it goes," Michelle added.
Annie's family decided to set up the fundraising page after they saw the joy on her face when she was offered the chance to test out an electric all terrain wheelchair. The family have collectively taken part in the three peaks challenge where friends and family managed to raise over £6000.
