Brave Lancashire firefighter, 42, dies after battling brain tumour for nearly 20 years
A widow took on the challenge of jumping out of a plane in honour of her brother who later died from a terminal brain tumour.
However, he was told last year his condition is terminal and there are no further treatment options available to him. His older sister, Lindsay Charlson completed her first tandem skydive from 13,000ft from Beccles Airfield on June 10. She has raised more than £1,600 for Brain Tumour Research’s Jump for Hope.He sadly passed away on Tuesday. Lindsay, 47, wanted to do something to help other people like Jamie, who is receiving palliative care.
He is currently being looked after by his parents Marion and Kevin at their home in Great Harwood. Lindsay, who used to live in Whalley, also took her husband’s ashes with her on the skydive and settled his ashes near Norwich.
