The 26-year-old homered in the first and fifth inning to help the Rays to an 8-4 win in Game 2 as Tampa Bay tied the series.

The offensive burst proved game changing for Tampa Bay which withstood a late rally from the Dodgers to level the series and ended a dismal run of form for Lowe, who was hitting 0.107 in the postseason and arrived in the World Series on the back of hitting 0.83 in the 13 games he played since the start of the American League Division Series."It felt great to kind of get back and contribute to the team. They've been doing so well for the past month.

"It was exciting for the first home run. The second one really ignited them. He can go quiet for a little while but he can be as hot as anybody in baseball. Hopefully, that's the trend that we're looking at going forward."
