"We just want the right to be a family, to be happy, to bless children that don't already have homes," she said, with Tucker chiming in to say she agreed. "As a woman of faith myself, I cannot see Jesus wanting to disallow any family from an adoption, so I can't stand by it.

The star added that she would not be boycotting the state of Tennesssee, since she feels a responsibility to be there for the community. But, she sent a call out to straight allies, asking them to step up. "I strongly suggest that people who aren't queer maybe could ... to create an issue, economically.", had a blunt message for anyone who would stand in the way of LGBTQ rights: "I guess we have nothing to talk about. You either get out of the way, or we walk over you.
