The PFA and Premier League launch a new brain health fund to assist former players who have been impacted by dementia and other neurodegenerative conditions.

There have been a number of studies in recent years exploring potential links between heading the ball and developing dementia

"That includes providing access to financial support for former players and the families who most need it." The PFA and Premier League are seeking to establish a charity - alongside other football stakeholders - with a view to being a "longer-term vehicle for support".
