ByA Fort Worth high school student was taken into custody Wednesday after police say the boy stabbed another student during a fight over a girl.
Officers were dispatched to Boswell High School about 12:52 p.m., for a report about two boys who were “in an altercation over a female” when one stabbed the other in the back. Their names and ages were not released. In an email to parents, Boswell principal Nika Davis said the student appeared to have used a “kitchen knife.”The other student was taken into custody, but police did not say if he would face any charges.
The school was placed on hold as police investigated, but the school later proceeded with a normal schedule, according to the email from Davis.
