The Culture Club legend star will be heading to the Australian rainforest
Boy George has signed up for the upcoming I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in the biggest deal ever.
"It’s beyond exciting that we’ve secured Boy George," an insider said. "It’s been a long time since we had a huge global star film the show and he will no doubt draw viewers." "He is thriving at the moment, he is about to perform with Culture Club at the legendary Austin City Limits in the coming weeks. He’s a national treasure and we have no doubt viewers will make him king of jungle."
During an appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway earlier this year, George actually told Ant and Dec that he would love to take part in I’m A Celebrity – as long as the show could cater to his dietary requirements. "Unless you do a vegan version and then I’m in," he told them.
