A teenage boy has died after he was pulled from a river over the Nottinghamshire border in Barrow-upon-Soar. Leicestershire Police were called out overnight to reports of four teenage boys entering the River Soar in the village, near Wymeswold and Upper Broughton on the border.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: "At 9.15pm yesterday officers were called to the area of Bridge Street in Barrow-upon-Soar by Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
