Boy, 17, stabbed Hiwa Ali-Khani to death in Preston street in tragic case of mistaken identity
A boy, 17, has pleaded guilty to the brutal murder of Hiwa Ali-Khani in Preston - in a tragic case of mistaken identity.
He then collapsed on the street. After being found by emergency services, he was rushed to hospital where he later died.It is believed the attacker had been intending to target another man - an alleged intended victim also sat in a car on Raikes Road at the time. On the night of the incident, police were called around 6.25pm after a report of an assault. Emergency services attended and found Mr Ali-Khani, 27, from Preston, with stab wounds to the chest.
