Craig Lambinon from the National Sea Rescue Institute says the teenager disappeared on Thursday."He is believed to have been caught in rip currents before disappearing underwater while waiting in the water during a school outing. Teachers and carers raised the alarm."A rescue was launched by NSRI along with Isimangaliso Park rangers and the police search and rescue.
"Despite the extensive search, no sign of the teenager was found. During ongoing search efforts on Friday, Isimangaliso Wetland Park rangers located the body of the teenager in the surf line, north of St Lucia at First Rocks,” says Lambinon.
