The Big Picture With the summer at an end, spooky season is getting underway. This year, the film kicking off the Halloween season is Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The long-awaited sequel to the Tim Burton classic 1988 horror comedy sees the return of Michael Keaton in the title role once again torturing Winona Ryder's Lydia Deetz. Leading up to the release, companies like Funko, Hot Topic, and NECA have been celebrating the return of Beetlejuice with exciting new merch.
What Is ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ About? Close Beetlejuice Beetlejuice follows up with Lydia Deetz and her family after tragedy strikes. Lydia brings her daughter Astrid along for the ride back to her family home. However, when she discovers her mother's supernatural past and gets trapped in the Neitherworld, it's up to Lydia to save her. That means she’s going to reluctantly get Beetlejuice’s help.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is hitting theaters on September 6, 2024, with early screenings happening on Wednesday, September 4. BoxLunch’s Beetlejuice collection is available now in stores and on their website.
