Mike Tyson reveals he was high during now-infamous plane incident
In his heyday, Tyson was the most fearsome boxer on the planet and at just 20 years old he became the youngest heavyweight world champion in history against Tyson, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney Stephen M. Wagstaffe.
Now the 56-year-old has spoken out about the incident, revealing he was feeling a bit worse for wear when boarding the flight as he had been smoking marijuana all day at a festival in San Francisco that celebrates the legalisation of the drug.Tyson told Piers Morgan Uncensored on TalkTV.“So, by the time I’m on the plane, I’m hungry, high and tired ok. And this guy keeps antagonising me. And then I came to my senses and kicked his f***king a**. I’m only joking. I wish I did kick his a**.
Tyson claimed that of every ten fan interactions, one person will try to mess with him but they never usually end with violence, partially because his he will suffer the wrath of his wife for reacting in such a way.“Listen, I can’t play like that anymore or my wife gets mad. She doesn’t like my sense of humour. She thinks I’m going to get cancelled or some s**t.”
