Boris Becker to be 'moved to Wandsworth Prison' - two miles away from Wimbledon

Three-time Wimbledon champion and ex-world number one tennis star was declared bankrupt in 2017. Becker, 54, owed creditors almost £50million over an unpaid loan of £3million on his estate in Mallorca. Transferred around £390,000 from his business account to others, including those of his ex-wife Barbara. The sports star is expected to begin his sentence at Category B Wandsworth Prison which is 'overcrowded'. His cell is just 2.

4 miles away from where he won three grand-slam titles in the Wimbledon Championships. BBC commentator found guilty on April 8 of four Insolvency Act offences between June and October 2017. Biographer Christian Schommers questioned whether the tennis legend would survive mentally in prison. Meanwhile, German television star Joachim Llambi said Becker has to 'take responsibility' for his crime.
