A 78-year-old La Joya resident and Vietnam veteran was outside his home with his young grandson when Border Patrol sped by. When the veteran told them to stop, the vehicle went by even faster.
PUBLISHED 2:17 PM CDT May. 20, 2022LA JOYA, Texas — “We’ve already told you to stop speeding and you keep doing it,” said retired Vietnam veteran Apolonio Ramon.
“Yes, ‘cause they keep speeding down the road,” said Ramon with six service men and women standing 15 yards away.The 78-year-old laid out his complaint.
