Since leaving Mamelodi Sundowns, Bongani Zungu has been linked to Kaizer Chiefs. The midfielder has yet to disclose his next destination.
Mamelodi SundownsThe 31-year-old left Sundowns last week which shocked many people. Having returned to Downs in 2022, Zungu only lasted two seasons before parting ways with the Brazilians. Under coach Rulani Mokwena, the midfielder was hardly utilised by the coach and hardly made a difference last season.
“At this stage, it’s not clear if he is the one who decided to leave, or if it’s the club who asked him to. So far, we haven’t heard anything from the club,” Mahlangu told“What the player put out on his Instagram doesn’t give us the whole picture, but maybe there is a better offer outside the country, which is good for him.
