Kelly Khumalo has once again been implicated as the one who ordered the hit on her boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa.

The two had previously testified that their confessions were made under duress, after being tortured and forced to sign what they were police doctored statements of their admission to the crime. He claims he was paid an amount of R45 000 to pull off the murder and was first paid R15 000 on Sunday, 26 October 2014, on the evening Senzo was killed, and received a further R30 000 a few days later.
In July 2023, Kelly was accused of being in contact with one of the men accused, Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli months before Senzo was gunned down at her family home in Vosloorus.
