Two politicians, including Pres. Duterte’s former special assistant were added to the Metro Manila Film Festival Executive Committee on Wednesday afternoon.
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Danilo Lim said the new members of the ExeCom were Sen. Bong Go, and Laguna’s 1st district Representative Dan Fernandez, a former actor. Go became a juror in the 2018 MMFF. The MMFF Selection Committee, headed by National Artist for Film Bienvenido Lumbera, picked these top four scripts: Ampon of Quantum Films starring Derek Ramsay and Kris Aquino; Miracle n Cell # 7 of Viva Communications, Inc. starring Aga Mulach and Nadine Lustre; Mission Unstapabol: The Don of Identity of APT Entertainment, Inc. starring Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza; and Mommalland of ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. starring Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis.
