Willie le Roux and Canan Moodie are two of 10 Springboks named in the Vodacom Bulls lineup for the Vodacom URC clash against Connacht in Galway on Saturday.

Le Roux and Moodie featured for the world champions on the end-of-year tour to the UK, and start for the Bulls as Jake White’s charges gear up to tackle the Irish outfit at The Sportsground in round 7 of the competition.

Fullback Le Roux and right winger Moodie will combine with the exciting Sebastian de Klerk in the back three while David Kriel and Harold Vorster make up the midfield combination.Johan Goosen will make his first appearance of the campaign when the seasoned flyhalf runs out alongside scrumhalf Embrose Papier.

Up front, props Francois Klopper and Alulutho Tshakweni pack down either side of Akker van der Merwe. Locks JF van Heerden and Ruan Vermaak link up in the second row, with Marcell Coetzee leading the team as part of a powerful loose trio with blindside flanker Cobus Wiese and No 8 Mpilo Gumede. Johan Grobbelaar, Gerhard Steenekamp, Mornay Smith, Jannes Kirsten, Cameron Hanekom and Keagan Johannes, Aphiwe Dyantyi and Stedman Gans are set to make an impact off the bench.
