Meanwhile, the family remains focused on the ongoing investigation of Dulce’s disappearance and is planning to mark her 8th birthday next month. The family and volunteers have held numerous events, including searches, candlelight vigils and marches to keep Dulce’s story alive as the police investigation continues.that she had recently met with a new FBI agent who joined the case and vowed to keep searching for answers. “He told me that they were not going to stop looking and that they were going to have more people with them,” she said at the time., though officials stress that all theories remain under consideration.
Dulce’s mom is organizing the April 25 birthday event with the help of volunteers Melanie Dawn, Anna Donnelly, Stacey Filoon and Brenda Trinidad.
