The body of an unknown woman was found floating in shallow waters at Macassar Beach. Forensic experts and investigators were on the scene after police were alerted about the body at 7am on Saturday morning:
Forensic experts and investigators were on the scene after police were alerted about the body at 7am on Saturday morning.According to Western Cape police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Malcolm Pojie, the woman has yet to be identified and the body has been handed to Pathology Forensic Services.
Macassar Community Policing Forum spokesperson Russell Williams said ‘it does not look like the person is from Macassar, but we still need a full report to confirm this’.Anyone who may have information about the discovery of the body or its identification is requested to call Macassar SAPS or Crime Stop on 08600 10111
