The body of 25-year-old hiker from New Jersey who went missing Friday in Washington state was recovered the next morning, officials said. The woman was hiking with a friend near Wallace Falls when the two became separated, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said Monday. She has not been identified pending family notification.

Rescuers from the sheriff’s office, including a swift water rescue team, were unable to find the woman on Friday but located her body down river from the Wallace Falls Trail on Saturday morning. “It is believed the two hikers were under the influence of mushrooms,” the sherif’s office said. “The death appears to be accidental.”The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause and manner of death.
