A body of a missing man was found at Sunrise Beach near Muizenberg on Saturday.

reported that the body of a man who was reported missing in the surf zone at Sunrise Beach was found on Saturday morning.stranded at the beach near Strandfontein. The South African Police Service , City of Cape Town Law Enforcement Marine Unit, and lifeguards were summoned to the scene. The body has been identified by the man’s family and taken into the care of Government Health Forensic Pathology Services.

NSRI Strandfontein rescue swimmers entered the water and conducted free dive search efforts in an attempt to locate the victim.Capetownetc reports that the police have opened an inquest docket into the man’s death.
