The alarm was raised on Sunday evening following reports of concern for the man, who had failed to return from his planned walk on Beinn an Lochain, Argyll and Bute.
A body has been found in the search for a missing hillwalker on a mountain in Argyll and Bute. The alarm was raised at around 7.05pm on Sunday, February 26, following reports that a 66-year-old man had failed to return from their planned walk on Beinn an Lochain.
But the man’s body was sadly found around three hours later. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and his next of kin have been informed.
