According to the North Sydney Volunteer Fire Department, the cause of a fire on a boat at the Northern Yacht Club in North Sydney is under investigation by police. North Sydney Fire Chief Lloyd MacIntosh said the fire call came in around 10:30 p.m., but they had to return a couple of times to fight the blaze.And he said they had to truck water in as there are no fire hydrants in the area and the only other option would be to pull water from the harbour.Fire destroyed a cabin cruiser at the Northern Yacht Club in North Sydney Sunday night.
