The perfect – and perfectly chic – emblem of BMW’s commitment to championing creativity across the board?. Designed by a diverse team of engineers, the all-electric version of the classic 7 Series combines the luxury of a first-class airline cabin with impressive technology credentials. Enter BMW’s new partnership with the British Film Institute, which is giving up-and-coming filmmakers the chance to produce a short film, themed around “Evolving Perspectives”, specifically for this innovative piece of technology.

Submissions opened to emerging creatives across the UK in March, with the shortlist announced in June. In addition to a £10,000 budget to develop their proposed 90-second short film and demonstrate the power of 8K/32:9 cinematography, the five finalists will benefit from mentoring courtesy of Emmy-winning force for change Michaela Coel, whose spectacular comedy
