The scariest movie Nanny star Anna Diop has seen? She hates that 'creepy little, s---ty' doll Chucky.
Written and directed by Jusu, in her feature directorial debut, “Nanny” follows a Senegalese woman named Aisha who recently immigrated to America. When Aisha starts working as a nanny for a wealthy New York couple, she also begins having haunting visions. Michelle Monaghan, Sinqua Walls, Morgan Spector and Rose Decker star alongside Diop.
“Knowing my first feature, ‘Nanny,’ is now among a roster of provocative and iconic work at Amazon is rewarding,” stated Jusu. “Coupled with Blumhouse’s recognizability in the world of genre, horror specifically, I’m excited to be in the warm embrace of a team at the intersection of bold content and indie filmmaking sensibilities.
