THUNDER BAY — Who knew that an Australian kids' cartoon could have such an impact on parents as it does on its child audience?
Bluey has entertained children — and certainly many parents — across the world on TV and online and now they'll be taking that to the stage with a live stage show across Canada that includes a stop in Thunder Bay. The Blue Heeler family will be making a visit to the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium later this year for three days from Dec. 8-10. Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show, will also be entertaining families in Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. It's expected that more Canadian shows will be added as the show dates get closer.
The stage show has had a large success in Australia, where it was performed 447 times across 65 venues, including the Sydney Opera House. The tour is currently in the U.S., where it’s played at the Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York, the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and the iconic Chicago Theatre.
