Guerrero, who normally plays third base, went 2-for-5 on Wednesday to raise his average to .367 in eight games with Buffalo this year. The 20-year-old Guerrero, who was born in Montreal and raised in the Dominican Republic, has three home runs and eight RBIs. There has been speculation that the Blue Jays could call up Guerrero for his major-league debut on Friday when the team begins a three-game series against the Oakland A’s. The Blue Jays are off on Thursday.
