DStv Premiership side Royal AM have been dealt a blow as they look set to begin their 2022/2023 campaign without the services of star striker Samir Nurkovic. Read more here ➡️
Nurkovic is currently battling a knee injury that has kept him out of action since arrived in KwaZulu-Natal during pre-season camp.The Serbian missed the KZN Premier's Cup in KwaZulu-Natal last week as he faces an extended period on the sidelines.
According to a source close to Royal AM, that club is still yet to determine the extent of Nurkovic's injury."The club is still yet to confirm if he will have to undergo surgery or not," said the source. The club are reportedly facing two options where the attacker could either face six weeks on the sidelines or a longer period of six months.
Royal AM are set to host Kaizer Chiefs in their opening DStv Premiership encounter in Durban this coming weekend.
