He had to be transported via ambulance and got six or seven stitches, but an injury didn't mean that the illustrious action star got a day off. Donnie said that the day after the call, he went back to the set and they shot close-ups from his uninjured side so you couldn't see the patches covering his injury.Improvisation was the name of the game when it came to Hong Kong action movies back in the day, according to Donnie.
