It is tucked away on an ordinary industrial estate but what's inside is far from ordinary
They are part of the resort's unmistakable identity in the autumn and winter months, carrying on the glow and warmth of the summer. So it is hard to believe these world-famous dazzling displays could be created in such an unassuming, ordinary place.
Every single part of the displays is designed and produced from scratch, from the design, sourcing material, electrical wiring to the paintwork and construction. They are manufactured and sculpted from a combination of materials, including wood and metal, with the tableaux at the North End of the prom are mainly made from wood in the joinery workshop.
They are predominantly funded by the council and cost around £2m, with further donations from charity buckets and sponsorships.
