Blackpool Pleasure Beach has changed its name and logo on social media - but it hasn't gone down well

For over 125 years, Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been a world-famous resort, with thrill-seekers travelling from all over to enjoy the park's rollercoasters and attractions.

Some Pleasure Beach goers have even referenced the long-gone 'Mr Funshine', the theme park's logo depicting a yellow face with bright red cheeks. One person wrote: "That’s terrible. Mr Funshine was iconic and such an easy element to incorporate. Now it looks like Cardfactory."
