The Blaauwberg Nature Reserve will participate in the upcoming Clean-up SA week by running beach clean-ups at different locations every day between 14 and 21 September 2024, Cape {town} Etc reports.

The week of beach clean-ups will build up to the International Coastal Clean-up Day on Saturday, 21 September, when more than 700 000 volunteers in 120 countries around the world take part in the world’s biggest clean-up.Looking for things to do in the city at half the price? ‘Spring is here and the weather conditions are looking so much better for us to do a good clean up along this stretch of beach,’ said Alderman Eddie Andrews, Mayco member for spatial planning and environment. ‘It’s the perfect opportunity to soak up some of that sunshine and fresh air we have been missing all during the winter months.’
