Austrian cryptocurrency exchange Bitpanda has announced its first-ever acquisition of digital asset custodian Trustology on February 22.
Trustology is Bitpanda’s first acquisition. The main objective behind the deal is to make decentralized finance more accessible to institutional investors, service providers as well as token issuers.
At first, Bitpanda Custody will take custody of the exchange’s own assets across its retail, institutional, and white-labeling services. According to the announcement, this move will make Bitpanda Custody one of the largest digital assets custody providers in the world.
