Westchester will face Crenshaw at 1 p.m. and top-seeded Granada Hills will face King/Drew at 2:30 p.m. in the girls’ semifinals. Taft will face Westchester at 5:30 p.m. and Birmingham plays Fairfax at 7 p.m. in the boys’ semifinals. The boys’ bracket has already experienced some drama, seeing No. 1-seeded Narbonne fall to Westchester in the opening round, 60-56.In the CIF Southern Section Open Division girls basketball playoffs, Sierra Canyon will take on Sage Hill in Pool A at home to decide which team will play in the Open Division final on Feb. 25 at the Honda Center.In Division 1, Chaminade will travel to Orange Lutheran for a semifinal matchup scheduled for 6 p.m.
Chaminade will travel to San Gorgonio in Division 6 semifinals at 5:30 p.m. after blanking Laguna Blanca 8-0, University Prep 4-0 and edging Fairmont Prep in penalty kicks in the quarterfinals.
