Here are the football games to watch in the Birmingham area this week as playoffs continue.

The defense features a strong LB corps with Talton Thomas , Trust Darnell and Rigdon Gibbons along with DL Maxy Salazar in the front 7. DBs include Clay Burdeshaw and Parking Sansing . Muscle Shoals averages a Class 6A sixth-best 38.2 points a game with QB Cole Woods triggering the run-heavy attack. RBs Devin Townsend and Jaelin Goodwin are a formidable duo. Receiving targets are Jamir Goodloe , Isaac Fowler and Bryant Basden . Isaac Rue is the leader of the OL. Kicker Trey Stoddard has 10 FGs and 47 PATs this season.
Arab averages 39. 6 points a game with QB Aidan Cox running the offense, targeting Spencer Strickland , who’s also the punter, Brody McCain and Drew Puccio . RB Drake Franklin has been held to less than 100 yards rushing in only two games this season while Hayden O’Reilly is also capable.
