When Avery Bazinet first heard Billy Talent was coming to Sudbury for a concert at Bell Park’s Grace Hartman Amphitheatre, he was pumped.
With the emotional rollercoaster ending on an upswing, Avery said he’s excited to see his favourite band in concert, again. “I grew up going to rock concerts with my family,” Rod said. “It became a part of forming me to become a professional musician, so I tried to make sure that we instill that in my kids so that they have a desire to participate and a desire to go to the shows and really absorb the energy of a live concert.”
As a musician himself, Rod said he understands the push for 19+ shows to facilitate alcohol sales, but that it leaves youths out of the equation. There has got to be a better way of facilitating both groups, he said.
