British billionaire Sir James Dyson bought Singapore’s most expensive penthouse
British billionairehas spent a reported $54.24 million on Singapore’s most expensive penthouse in a further sign that the inventor and entrepreneur is set to move more of his business activity overseas.
One of Singapore's largest residential properties, the 21,000 square foot penthouse located on the 62nd to 64th floor boasts, according to the property’s listing, five bedrooms, a private swimming pool, cabana, jacuzzi room, a private bar and panoramic city views.: “Given the decision to locate the headquarters in Singapore and the growing focus of the company’s business in the region, of course James Dyson has bought a property there.
With the first cars set to roll off the production line in 2021, Dyson said his decision was based on the availability of engineering talent and the city’s proximity to its target markets, namely China.
