The camera still recorded the men’s voices as the meeting continued. “When opened the jacket and showed me the patch, that is when I understood. here is my client and here is his business card,” the complainant said in reference to the patch. “He switched to plural. He referred to his clients. Are his clients other members of the organization? You’ll have to ask Mr. Bernier.”
The meeting lasted 15 minutes before Blais and Bernier left. The complainant called the police but only after a long delay. Harvey asked the man if he is “familiar with 911?”
