What a six years it's been 🍔
It's been one of the biggest names in Scottish street food since its founding, and the exciting food mart in the southside of Glasgow continues to push boundaries as it approaches its sixth anniversary.
It wasn't long before he returned to Glasgow to bring his idea to life, creating Big Feed and what would go on to become one of Scotland's most popular street food venues. Much like the rest of the food and drink industry at the minute, there are challenges but Jonathan explained that they are lucky to work with some "incredible vendors" and have such a loyal and dedicated following."We watched Julie Lin on Saturday morning TV at the weekend," Jonathan said. "She was one of the first traders we ever had. Amazing to see how far she's got, lovely girl and she truly deserves it, with her passion for food and her incredible attitude.
When asked how many people they have fed at Big Feed over the years, Jonathan jokes that there might be "one or two people in Glasgow that are still to be tempted" down to one of their events but that they are on a mission to feed everyone. With this weekend set to be a huge celebration for the team, Jonathan added that he can't wait to see what the future has in store.
