The cast of 'Big Brother Germany' don't know about the coronavirus pandemic.
As per the rules of the show, the contestants have no contact with the outside world and cannot get updates about what's happening.
Four new housemates entered the house on 6 March, three days before Germany reported its first death due to the virus, reports the newspaper.that the contestants will be informed if there is reason to do so. "Which information is given to the residents from outside is also decided in exchange with the relatives."After a social media uproar producers have now decided to tell the contestants about the pandemic in a live episode set to air on Tuesday night, reportsThere are also versions of the show on air in Canada and Brazil – housemates took up residence in March and January respectively. They haven't been informed of the pandemic either.
