Several South African tech stores have confirmed plans to offer big discounts as part of their Black Friday 2024 shopping promotions.
Major South African distributors and online stores have confirmed plans to offer significantly discounted prices on tech products during this year’s Black Friday shopping period.study found that online retail sales values grew 29% to R71 billion in 2023.A part of the increase has been due to the rapidly growing popularity of international giants like Temu and Shein.
Among them is major technology distributor First Technology, which sells to both businesses and end-users. “Our goal is to provide both business and consumer clients with unbeatable offers,” the company said. “We’re also preparing exclusive bundle deals, allowing customers to purchase tech packages at even greater savings,” Panaino said.
“Consumers can look forward to TV deals from R279 per month with a TV licence included on all TVs, as well as free delivery on all Teljoy products,” said Teljoy marketing manager Michelle Steyn.Steyn recommended customers be quick to check out the deals as they move fast during the Black Friday period.
