Biden approves export permits for Sempra's LNG terminal in Mexico
The announcement by the Department of Energy follows complaints the Biden administration was slow walking the permitting process from Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who has been holding up the confirmation of four of the administration's appointees to the energy department in protest.
“This decision is a long overdue win for Texas and America," said Dave Vasquez, a spokesman for Cruz."American allies and partners in Asia will have access to newer and cleaner alternatives to the coercive energy blackmail pushed by Russia and China.”
