Residents in Mariannhill near Pinetown outside of Durban say they are desperate for protection amid continued threats of violent crime in the area. Emotional family members of rape and robbery victims told Police Minister Bheki Cele during his visit to the township on Thursday that they were unhappy about the lack of a permanent police station in their community.
