BGT's Ant McPartlin suffers 'heavy fall' live on-air in opening minutes of semi-final
The live semi-final of the 2023 instalment of Britain's Got Talent got off to a jaw-dropper of a start as Ant McPartlin suffered a "heavy fall" live on-air.
The host hit the deck following an opening number performed by 2009 winners, London-based dance group Diversity, fronted by Dancing On Ice judge, Ashley Banjo. Meanwhile Dec, also 47, struggled to contain his laughter, eventually asking his pal: "Are you okay?"Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon also picked up on the blunder, standing up to check if the host was hurt.
