A Bexar County Sheriff’s Office sex scandal stands to sever at least two marriages and possibly end the careers of three employees.
Bexar County Sheriff's Office Deputy Juan Leal faces possible termination stemming from a sex scandal involving a 911 dispatcher.
The sheriff’s office started investigating the claims surrounding the married dispatcher on Dec. 6, after Perez’s husband, Giancarlo Perez, provided graphic texts between her and the law enforcement officers, the department said. The lewd texts that Giancarlo Perez gave to the BCSO included conversations involving his wife, Leal and Salinas describing future sexual rendezvous.
“Misconduct, such as that described in this case, tends to undermine public trust, and will not be tolerated,” Sheriff Javier Salazar said to the Express-News.While the alleged incidents had professional consequences, they also affected the personal lives of those involved. The allegations of infidelity appear to have broken up two marriages since the investigation started, court records show.
