JOHANNESBURG - The case against Facebook rapist and murderer Thabo Bester has been postponed to 8 August.Bester will appear in person when the trial resumes.Bester escape accused return to court During the brief virtual appearance, Kabelo Matee took over from Tshoeunyane Pela as Bester's attorney. State prosecutor Sello Matlhoko said:"The state is of the view at least a period of will suffice to allow the completion of this investigation, on that basis, we are agreed with the legal team, even of other accused on the date of the 8th of August 2023.
"Your worship, I have further been approached by Mr Mate, the legal team for Mr Bester now in terms of his physical on the next appearance. The state has no objections, the necessary arrangements will be done. He remains in custody."
