Berlin Jury President Kristen Stewart is handing out the Gold and Silver Bears to the winners of the 73rd Berlinale in the German capital.
The first winner of the night, the Berlinale Silver Bear short film jury prize, went to directors Matthew Thorne and Derik Lynch for their Australian dramafrom Lebanese directors Michelle and Noel Keserwany.
The Encounters jury, which picked the best films in the Berlinale’s sidebar for more experimental cinema, gave its special jury honor ex aequo tofrom Spanish director Lois Patiño.to comment on current issues of gender and body-politics.Berlinale Jury President
